# Default index.php

 * Hello,
 * My blog needs the follwoing thing:
    if you want to view a blog on the address:
   [http://www.en4us.com/blog/?page_id=2](http://www.en4us.com/blog/?page_id=2) 
   you will get an error page until you enter (index.php) after the slash and before
   the question mark. How can I make the blog build such address by default?

 * I recieved the following error:
    Warning: main(./wp-blog-header.php): failed 
   to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\hshome\en4us\en4us.com\blog\index.
   php on line 4

 * * I noticed the wrong thing:
    it added a slash after index.php/ and it supposed
   to add index.php only!

 * so it’s working now ?
 * (and your first error is weird , because i never had to add the index.php)
 * try also to activate the Permalink (under option also)
 * and update your htaccess

 * As I said, there is an error. Thanks for the help anyway but I am still having
   problems with my .htaccess. And I believe it is the only remaining problem to
   fix.
 * Is there a solution other than htaccess?

 * Dear Yosemite,
 * That link does not help me as I don’t know programming and changing my permalink
   did not fix the matter. Hope someone will post step-by-step guide. Also, I prefere
   changing settings through the blog’s files and not the CP.
 * So, either htaccess or permalink! I will boost fixing my .htaccess.
