[Resolved] Default font color in Rich Text Editor

  • Firstly, this is an AWESOME plugin, so thank you for your work.

    Secondly, is there any way to set the default text color for the text in the Rich Text Form Element? By default, it’s set to a black color, which mixes with the dark background of my page and can’t be seen. I’d like to set the default to be white, so that users don’t get confused and think there’s some larger issue. Thank you!

  • Just drop a rule into your theme stylesheet (or better add the selector to the rule that sets the default font color. Something like this:

    .mceContentBody { color: #ffffff; }

    Of course, this might not work, depending on what your theme is doing…if it doesn’t, look at the rule that is setting the font color in your theme and then make sure you new one overrides it by being more specific.

    Thanks my friend, all has been taken care of with the css. Keep up the great work.
