• Hi
The default font changed on my last update and now my site looks rather dated! Has the font been removed? How do I get it back?

  • Hello @eic2010,

    Thank you for reaching us.

We have now made the ColorMag fonts to be displayed locally rather than the Google fonts because there were some issues with GDPR compliant in the European countries. If there are no GDPR compliant in your country, you can choose the appropriate fonts of your choice.

Also, the option for changing the fonts for the ColorMag theme is available with the Pro version only. According to the .org guideline, we cannot discuss the pro feature in the support forum here. So I request you to contact us via the live chat support forum so that we can discuss on your query: https://themegrill.com/

    Regards.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I’m based in the UK and am using the free version so cannot change the font. I was happy with what was on there previously. What do you mean by ‘displayed locally rather than the Google fonts’?

    Hello,

Sorry for the late response, seems like we missed it completely.

It means that when you use the ColorMag theme, the Default Font will load, not the Google Font.

    Hope you understand.

    Regards
