Default event template causing top navigation shading malfunction (4 posts)

I currently have The Events Calendar loaded on my events page. Enabling the default events template on said page causes the shading on my top navigation menu bar to indicate the blog page instead of the event page. Pretty permalinks are enabled. Disabling them does not fix the situation.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm still looking for a fix to this issue if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks.

    Bueller? Bueller?

I could still really use an answer on this if anybody has any insight? If not, I'll have to go with a different plugin.

Hey stringmusic24. Thanks for the notes here, and apologies that we haven't given you a response here until now.

Is there a reason you can't use the Default Page Template here? My guess is, if you are limited to the Default Events Template, it should be relatively easy to work through via a template override (as detailed at http://tri.be/what-are-template-overrides-and-how-do-i-do-them/).

Hope that helps! (That's about the best I can offer up without a link to the site.) If you're still stuck from there, mind sharing a link?
