# Default editor switch issue

 * Sometimes it switches back to block editor even after setting classic as default.
   Not sure why this happens. Any idea how to keep it fixed?

 * This usually happens when “Allow users to switch editors” is set to Yes. The 
   plugin then remembers which editor was last used on each post and reopens that
   post in the same
   one.
 * To fix it, go to Settings → Writing, set:
    - Default editor for all users → Classic editor
    - Allow users to switch editors → No 
      Then save. Every post will now open in
      the Classic editor. If it still switches after that, another plugin may be
      forcing the block editor. Try deactivating your other plugins one at a time
      to find which one. Hope this helps!
