    We’ve expereince this problem with a handful of orders that we processed:

    We had an ordered paid for in the default currency (AUD). However, in the database, the admin screen and sales report, this same order shows up as settled in a diffent currency (GBP). This is strange because we were paid in AUD and the correct amount for AUD was processed. We have a different price for the same product in GBP. Nevertheless, The amount and currency we received is correct. The currency saved in database for the same order is wrong.

    How should we best approach this problem for debugging purposes. This kind of inconsistency happens from time to time.

    What is the method of payment of the orders with the wrong currency?
    Are you using some plugin which update the order after payment process?
    Was all wrong orders created via checkout?

    If it happens from time to time it will be hard to solve.



    we’re experiencing a site different issue, when it comes to checkout page, the currency revert back to default and stays the default.

    Hi @sigmawadbude, check:

    • If you are using a cache plugin then you must set Default Customer address to geolocation (with page cache support)
    • at checkout, the shipping country and billing country aren’t equals and your prices are based on shipping address.
