# Default colors

 * The majority of my theme is on a black background, so my colors (set in your 
   settings) are mainly white for the headings. This is a problem though sometimes
   when I create headings in white areas like a specific post type. With that being
   said, would it be better to use something like Style Kits for Elementor or the
   Central Color Palette plugin to designate specific colors for specific areas?

   not a theme thing.
    You are setting from the theme the base elements colors that
   are used through the entire theme. But if you’ve created a specific custom post
   type – this is already your job to make it work there too… we simply can’t know
   what everyone is creating and add specific options for those cases too.
 * Regarding those plugins, sorry but I can’t recommend or tell you something about
   them, we didn’t had a chance to play with them.
