    Hi,

I have just installed Pods along with Post Type pro and Caldera Forms. The idea is that I create a form that allows users to enter data. That form data is then mapped to a Pod to create a new CPT (call foh_app / Applications).

I have set the Caldera Form to have the “Save as Post Type” processor to cause the new Application (foh_app) CPT to be assigned to the following categories “foh_app_open” and “application_made”

On the Edit Pod Advanced Options, I have ticked the option Categories (category) under Built-in Taxonomies.

So, when someone completes the form, an entry in stored in the form entries but also the Pods framework picks this up and creates a new CPT of foh_app which shows under the Applications Post entires in the WP Admin Screen.

Under Applications – it has All Applications, Add New, Categories and Reorder (this last being from a different pluging that orders posts).

The Categories tab when clicked shows the identical catagories as under the standard Posts Admin Menu Item. Same names, same post ids, same everything. Change in one and the change is reflected in the other. Not sure why it has 2 now but worth a mention.

But, if you tray and look at a WP Categor page then NONE of the CPT foh_app entries will sho. Only ones of post_type “post”.

Forgive me if I have used ncoreect or imprecise terminology as I’m new to all this and my old head doesn’t pick things up as quickly as it once did.

    Many Thanks
