    Hello there,

I’m using “Facebook for Woocommerce” on https://www.alliastore.it website.
After some days, Facebook alerted us that there are some Deduplication issues on the Purchase Events.

I will link two screenshots here:
    1. https://prnt.sc/1y6b95g (“Acquisto” is “Purchase” and as you can see there is the red alert triangle)
    2. https://prnt.sc/1y6c992 (I switched the language afterwards)

The problem here is that I’m completely “dependent” on your plugin that takes care both of the client and server side conversions, so I can’t really do anything in this case.

Can you please help me to sort this out?
    Thank you in advance!

    Hey @andrea87n,

Facebook tries to deduplicate identical events sent through the Facebook pixel and the Conversions API. It does this by matching Event ID’s and eliminating duplicate or redundant information based on those.

Facebook can take some time to learn what events are matched over time hence you may get some deduplication messages on occasion. Looking at your site I can see that the checkout has the correct purchase events present.

You can use the free Facebook Pixel Helper for the Google Chrome Browser to see pixel data and events on a site.

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#how-can-i-tell-if-the-facebook-pixel-has-been-properly-installed-on-my-site

I’d suggest marking the deduplication messages as resoved and see if those come back in a few days.

    I hope this helps.

    Got it.
I’ll try what you suggested and I’ll let you know the results in some days.

    Thank you for now!

    Hello there,

I’m back here again and the situation hasn’t got any better.
Now we also have the deduplication issue on the ViewCategory event.

    I’ll attach you three screenshots:
    1. https://prnt.sc/1yw05mq
    2. https://prnt.sc/1yw05w9
    3. https://prnt.sc/1yw064f

So the situation is still the same: I’m completely “dependent” on your plugin that takes care both of the client and server side conversions, so I can’t really do anything in this case.

    What’s next?
    Thank you in advance!

    Hi @andrea87n,

Can you please try the following steps too?

    1. Clear Caching and Transient data by going to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click – Clear Transients (Button on the right)
    2. Force full sync all your products manually by going to Marketing > Facebook > Product sync, click Sync Product

Let us know how it goes!

    Hello again,

everything seems to be working fine now!
Facebook took one day to synchronize and show the data again. There’s no error or alert now.

I will come back here in case the issue will reappear again (I hope not 🙂 ).

Thank you very muchfor your support!
