 * Hi there.
 * I’m just wondering if there’s a way to decrease the opacity of the lightbox background,
   so that the page behind it is less visible?

 * Hi [@mikehindle](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mikehindle/)
 * Glad you reached out!
 * There is no built-in option to change the opacity of the lightbox background,
   but you can achieve this by adding custom CSS:
   [https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-do-i-add-custom-css/](https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-do-i-add-custom-css/)
 * Here’s the CSS:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       .goverlay {   opacity: .4;}
       ```
 * Just change the value to your liking.
 * I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.
