# Decrease header image height

 * I would like to decrease the height of my header image for about 50%. I have 
   tried all combinations found in the forum but none of them decreased the height.

 * Hello,
    Thank you for your reply. I just want the header to take less space, 
   so if that would solve it, I think it is. Do I have to decrease the picture itself?

 * So, I could provide some CSS for you to resize the image… however, I think it
   would be best for you to contact the theme developer in case there is a setting
   within the theme options that I am missing. You can do that [here](https://wordpress.org/themes/dara/).

    I will also contact the

 * If it is not working as expected then my CSS code will likely be ignored. Please
   work with the theme developer to find a solution for this problem. From looking
   closer at the demo and then looking back at your site I believe the problem might
   actually be that the demo uses a logo that is smaller than the image you are 
   using. Therefore, while CSS will fix the problem it is not the correct fix. I
   would suggest resizing the image using an image editor and uploading it again
   in the theme settings.

    unfortunately the picture just got unclear, but the height was the same.
