    Hi,

On update to the latest version, my number fields won’t accept decimals. On submit, I get an “Invalid Value” error. In the past it has worked fine.

I tried setting the step to 0.5, but that isn’t helping (in fact, its bringing me to the “0.5” field, indicating the same error here).

It’s for a 5 star rating system, so we need the 0.5 intervals.

  • Ditto. I am facing the same problem on my site.

I see that elliot has already committed the fix in github. picked the latest file number.php and it solved the problem.

    number.php

so, it’s ok to download that number.php (linked above in github) and replace the current one in the plugin? This won’t upset updates in future or anything?

The ACF support site appears to be broken at the moment so can’t ask there.

It should be fine, and won’t affect updates. The issue will be fixed in the update, and I’m just going to wait for that, as the issue seems exclusive to Chrome (I’ve used Firefox to change the step).
