 * Hello,
 * I need to debug a backup plugin that has no front end output and only does stuff
   in the wp-admin. Is it possible to enable this Debug plugin in wp-admin?

 * No, unfortunately. Debug This is for front-end only.

 * Thank you for the prompt response!
 * Since you are “in the field” of debugging, could you pretty please suggest me
   a debug plugin / bar / whatever to debug the admin? I really need it ASAP.
 * Thanks in advance.

 * I’ll try. Which backup plugin are we talking about? What about it are you trying
   to debug?

 * Updraft, it works 30% of the time on our server. The developer and I could not
   come up with a simple solution.

 * If David could not come up with a simple solution, one does not exist.
 * It sounds like you need an event log to determine the point of failure, something
   debug plugins won’t give you because they gather information about the current
   process which is usually successful but may contain the wrong posts, for example.
 * I wish I could help but I don’t know of an off-the-shelf solution for you. Your
   server error logs may hold some clues. A developer may be able to add some event
   logging to Updraft if you can throw some money at it.
