 * I have seen in many topics posted here that people are not using a proper debugging
tool. Guys use FireBug with Firefox. You can edit the CSS as well as HTML live
and watch the changes made. If you could do that the cases here would be far
   less.

 * Moderators, please add something like this as a sticky post so that the number
   of support cases lowers.

 * Yes – agree. Firebug is a good tool for debugging this is a must have tool for
anyone with a website. Its easy to install in firefox and you can even add extra
helpful scripts/programs in it such as yslow for helping improve performance
   of a website.

 * The forum’s Rules, FAQS and Hot Topics are currently under review. I’ve no doubt
that mention will be made of Firebug in one of those documents. However, bear
in mind that most support queries are from people who:
 * – don’t use Firefox
    – would find Firebug difficult to use – wouldn’t know how
   to add/edit CSS
 * Yes – Firebug is an excellent tool. I use it constantly myself. But using it
effectively does rely upon a pre-existing understanding of CSS usage and syntax–
something that many posters don’t (yet) have. I seriously doubt that promoting
Firebug will have much of an effect on the overall number of CSS support cases.
 * Finally, please do not use the modlook tag unless you wish to report a bad, or
   inappropriate, post.

 * You are right esmi. But the problem I found with many people who try to edit
their CSS and end up screwed is that, they don’t have a WYSIWYG editor (or they
   don’t know of one)
 * Thanks for taking the time to reply. 🙂
