Support » Plugin: Advanced Product Fields (Product Options) for WooCommerce » Deatails not visible at minicart only at checkout

  • Resolved andreeemoberg

I can´t see the details in minicart only in checkout.
I have to mention that I don´t use a cart page, I only use the minicart.

This is what I have tryed:
    – Inactivated all plugins to detect conflict.
    – AJAX add to cart is switched off.
    – Product field setting is on to Show on customer’s cart page.
    – Options labels is set correctly.

Another thing I tryed that actually made the details show up in the minicart was that I set the cart page in woocommerce settings to be the homepage, but that made another problem.

The problem with that was that the hover of the minicart stopped working on the homepage, but worked fine on all other pages.

I hope there is a solution to show the details on minicart, because I really enjoy the plugin. It´s great!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I’d like to know as well!

    Hi @andreeemoberg

Thank you for using our plugin! Currently, the premium version already has an option to display fields in the mini cart. We’re still debating whether or not to move this over to the free version as well (we have to make a distinction somewhere, sorry!).

    Kind regards,

I understand, It would be great if that was in the free version.
If it will be free when if so would that possible be?

    Another 2 questions:
Is there a way to remove the 2 decimals?

And is the addons price possible to add to the product price when it´s being checked?

We’ll make a decision later this week. Adding it is one day of work.

    For your other questions:

    1) the number of decimals can be set via WooCommerce settings. More specifically under WooCommerce>settings>general all the way to the bottom.

    2) do you mean that if a product costs €10, you want an add-on to cost €10+2, so total price is €22, for example? Or are we talking about different things?

Okey, Im voting yes for it haha 🙂
How will I know if it will be added, will it be in the next update if so?

    1) unfortunately I cannot make that setting to be 0 decimals because of the Svea checkout plugin I use, it need the decimals to be set at 2… But to hide the decimals I use this code in function.php that works great on all products, except the addons.

      * Trim zeros in price decimals
    add_filter( 'woocommerce_price_trim_zeros', '__return_true' );

    2) Not really.
Example my product cost 10$ and the checkbox addon price is 5$.
When I check that I want the 10$ in .single-product div.product p.price to change from$10 to 15$ so I can preview what the price will be before added to cart.

It will be written in the changelog here.

    1) Aha, noted. You basically want to get rid of the zeros but keep decimals if there are any. I’ll make a note of this and implement the same filter in our plugin. That’s not a lot of work so can be done with the next update.

    2) Our plugin should add a price preview underneath all your product options. Do you have that?

    Okey, sounds good.

    1) Exactly, that also sounds good!

    2) Well I rather not show all the prices underneath.
I have auctally add this code to hide all that

    .wapf-product-totals .wapf--inner{

What I rather would like is if the grand total price can replace this price: .woocommerce-Price-amount amount

Then there will only be one place for the price.

would love an answer to the 2) question.

That’s not possible through the plugin. It requires some custom javascript to make this happen.
