 * I’m having trouble setting slugs for static pages on my WordPress site:
 * [http://catherineandchloe.co.uk](http://catherineandchloe.co.uk)
 * If I set the slug to, say, ‘introduction’ I get ‘page not found’.
 * If I set the slug to ‘index.php/introduction’ (which I’d rather not as it doesn’t
   look so good) it works but breaks all the images.
 * So I’m stuck with numerical URLs and the friend I’m making this for is not happy
   with that. Any ideas? I’m running WP 3.2.1 on IIS 6.

 * Hi Lucky,
 * Instead of editing your slugs manually, you should turn on pretty Permalinks.
   You can do that by logging to your WP Admin Panel, and going to ‘Settings’ –>‘
   Permalinks’. Change the settings in there to any option but default, and not
   only your links will look the way you want them to, but your post slugs will
   automatically update to reflect the changes.
 * Take care!
