Deactivating the plug-in crushes the entire site

    Hi,

    Whenever we deactivate the plug-in, it crashes our entire site. Only the index page loads, and none of the CSS and Javascript can load anymore. Only way to fix it is restore our back up with the plug-in still activated.

    Would you have any idea why and how to avoid this?

    Note: this happens as well when the Settings are set to OFF. All other plug-ins are already deactivated. I can send screenshots if that helps. Thanks.

    G’day,

    It sounds like you have needed to set HTTPS Detection to something other than the default (standard WordPress function). That means you need to have some means of telling WordPress when you’re loading the site from HTTPS.

    If you’re a little handy with PHP, you can make the fix permanent so that you can deactivate the plugin, as described here:
