• Hi,

i’ve got an issue here. If I’m deactivating Content views my drop down menu is crashed and doesn’t work anymore.

Do you have any idea how to fix this? Or is this a trick to keep the plugin activated forever 🙁

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello,
    Thank you for contacting us.

No, we never use any trick.

The dropdown menu issue can be caused by this reason:
After deactivating our plugin, the Autoptimize still uses the old minified javascript that includes our plugin code.
That causes Javascript error, then affect the menu.

=> Please clear/flush/rebuild data of the Autoptimize plugin.

    Best regards,

After deactivating our plugin, the Autoptimize still uses the old minified javascript that includes our plugin code.

Well, never say never, but Autoptimize should never use old minified javascript, as it detects any changes in the javascript on a given to-be-optimized page and rebuilds, minifeis and caches a new autoptimized JS-file.

    hope this helps,

Hi frank @optimizingmatters, I just think it is a potential reason. Thank you for your confirmation.

Hi @kathleen77, glad to know it works.
Does it work after you clear/flush/rebuild data of the Autoptimize?

    Best regards,
