# Deactivating automatic updates for plugins not possible

 * Hi everyone,
 * I want to deactivate the automatic updates for my plugins as WooCommerce had 
   really big issues after a new release. To prevent this I would like to deactivate
   the automatic updates.
 * But this isn’t possible actually. I already deleted the phrase in my wp-config.
   php about the automatic updates but it is still not working. When I try to deactivate
   it the system says it is deactivated but when you check this on the right side
   on the plugins page it is showing “automatic updates activated”.
 * What else do I can do??
