 * Developer, hope this is not too much of a beginner question: Do all of my plugins
   have to be activated when I make a full backup of my site?

 * Your plugins do not need to be activated in order to be backed up.
 * UpdraftPlus will backup your entire plugins folder this includes non activated
   and active plugins.
