• Well, I think W3 Total Cache broke my site. I started having a variety of serious problems and ran the 3P Plugin Performance Profiler. It showed that W3 Total Cache plugin was using a whopping 40% of my runtime! What’s worse is that it isn’t even activated! I deactivated it earlier this week b/c I was still building my site, and a video tutorial I watched said not to turn it on until the site was constructed, which made sense to me.

Also, are you in any way connected with the Redux Framework? That is the second largest consumer of my plugin runtime. IDK what plugin uses that. I didn’t install it directly. So I started looking thru the W3 Total Cache plugin page on the WordPress site and saw a new, but familiar warning: “Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.” I have a policy to never install any plugin that gives me that warning, no matter how highly rated or how frequently recommended. So I can only conclude that when I updated WordPress, W3 Total Cache became incompatible w/ my version of WP (4.4).

Please advise me on how to completely uninstall this plugin, making sure to remove any files it created on my server, and making sure that the plugin doesn’t continue to use resources or otherwise negatively affect my site. Thanks!
