[resolved] Deactivated and activated, now 'not found' (5 posts)

    Blog URL: http://www.sweet2eatbaking.com

    I've had to deactivate all plugins on my site for an unrelated issue. I've activated them again and all settings and custom CSS seem to be as they should. However, now when I add the /print/ to the end of my posts URL it's showing a 404 not found page.

    I've checked my settings and the plugin is definitely activated correctly. I don't have any caching plugins running at the moment so I can't understand why it's showing a not found.

    Example: http://www.sweet2eatbaking.com/chocolate-chip-cookie-dough-frozen-yogurt-fro-yo-recipe/

    On the above URL, scroll down to the recipe, click print and it will show a 404. But for ease of use, here's the print URL for that page.

    Anyone know what I can do or check to get this back up and running as I use this plugin a lot.

    Thanks in advance.

    Did you re-generate the permalinks as instructed https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-print/installation/ ?

    Thanks Lester, that fixed it. Silly me.

    Also, just a quick question, but on the print page it states the post date, post author, categories and X comments. I like the date, post author and categories, but is there any way of hiding the '14 comments' on the print pages? It still links to the comments which doesn't work as they're not printed.

    Here's my example: http://www.sweet2eatbaking.com/chocolate-chip-cookie-dough-frozen-yogurt-fro-yo-recipe/print/

    I hid the print buttons by using CSS but I'm not sure which class I can hide the comments from without hiding the post date, post author and categories.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Unfortunately not.

    What you can do is to copy print-posts.php from the plugin folder to your theme folder and edit it.

    just remove | <u><a href='#comments_controls'><?php print_comments_number(); ?></a></u>
