Notice: you should deactivate the plugin "Google Analytics for WordPress by Yoast" if you are using Google Analytics tags inside Google Tag Manager!

Does it mean: Yoast SEO or Google Tag Manager?
Or what is conflicting, perhaps we can configure it that they can co-exist?

    Hi,

It means that if you are using the plugin “Google Analytics by MonsterInsights” formerly known as “Google Analytics by Yoast” with my GTM plugin and if you are using Google Analytics tags inside your GTM container, it may interfere with the plugin of MonsterInsights. You may count pageviews twice and you may face many other issues.

If you are not using GA tags inside your GTM container, you can safely use a native GA WordPress plugin.

    Have a great day,
    Thomas Geiger
