# Deactivate Premium

 * When I first started using MP Premium I had nearly 1,300 newsletter subscribers.
   Now that MP is eliminating subscribers who are inactive the subscriber base has
   gone below 1,000 and it no longer makes sense to use Premium. So I’ve switched
   back to the free plan I originally used.
 * Now that I’ve done that can I eliminate the MP 3 Premium plugin on my site and
   retain the Free version of the plugin? Anything I should do before deactivating
   the Premium plugin?
 * Also, does MP have any provision for displaying a recruitment pop up encouraging
   readers to subscribe?
