I am using W3 Total Cache. So should i deactivate the object and sidemap cache? Or isn’t W3TC taking care of it?

    Hi @lowkeyflex,

That’s entirely up to you. 🙂

You won’t see performance benefits on the front-end when using object caching in conjunction with transient caching. So you can pick either, where I recommend object caching. Having both enabled at the same time is redundant.
However, the admin area will be a little speedier when viewing post lists with transient caching enabled.

Do take note that the sitemap output is entirely stored in the transient cache and doesn’t make use of object caching. Therefore, I recommend keeping that enabled regardless of the object cache settings.

I hope this clears things up! Cheers!
