[resolved] De-Activate or Change Lightbox JS? (4 posts)

    This plugin is a great and does just what I need quite easily, so thank you. BUT...

    Is there a way to deactivate the lightbox feature or possibly use a *different* lightbox? Unfortunately, the lightbox feature conflicts with other jquery running on the page, so if possible, I'd like to use my own lightbox jquery with it so I can position the jquery in my markup where it won't conflict.

    Thoughts on this? :) Thanks!

    That can be done, I wish I saw this before I just pushed the latest update.

    For now, open the plugin editor and find the "_enqueue_resources". Comment out the Lightbox lines using //, like in the example below

    public static function _enqueue_resources() {
    			//wp_enqueue_script('jquery');
    			//wp_enqueue_script('lightbox-js', plugins_url( '/lightbox/lightbox.js', __FILE__ ));
    			//wp_enqueue_style('lightbox-style', plugins_url( 'lightbox/lightbox.css', __FILE__ ));
    			wp_enqueue_style('fbalbum-style', plugins_url( '/fbalbum.css', __FILE__ ));
    	}

    I'll get a new update out within next few days that adds option to disable built in Lightbox
