OK, this has been terribly frustrating so I’m hoping that is someone out there that can help…

Not sure how to describe the issue in the shortest manner other than to say I think this is a database issue of some sort. So here’s what happened…

My site is hosted by GoDaddy on a shared hosting platform. A couple of months ago I learned the pages that were WP generated/associated were not available. Spoke with GoDaddy tech support and was able to determine the alphanumeric string for the dbase connection was different that what it was supposed to be. GoDaddy couldn’t offer any explanation as to how this could have happened but needless to say, it really screwed things up.

I reset the alphanumeric string to what is was supposed to be which did then reconnect with the dbase. However the site did not repopulate back to what it was. And GoDaddy was basically of no help (although this really seems to be an issue that is connected to them.)

From what I can surmise, everything is still in the dbase. I just don’t know how to restore so that it all comes back the way it was. And of course while GoDaddy does backup of all HTML it doesn’t backup anything related to WP. So either someone can help me restore or I have to recreate everything that was in the dbase/blog.

    The web site is http://www.torquebrakefluid.com

I truly hope someone can help me with this…
