DB Table restore

For some unknown reason I’ve lost my PAGES on my site. I’m wondering if there is a way to extract them from a database backup and ONLY restore that table (wp-pages, I think) from the .sql file.

Anyone have experience with this? I’d appreciate some advice on how to accomplish this, if indeed I can restore a single table like this.

  • I just logged into MySQL (using phpMYAdmin) and when I clicked on the wp_posts table there was an Import option at the top. Perhaps you could go to that table and import the data you want.

I just checked in my DB to make sure I remembered well:
    There is no wp-pages table.
Pages are stored in the wp_posts and they differ from posts by the flag in the column “post_status” (9th column in my DB) where posts have “publish” and Pages have “static”.
    Maybe something changed their status?
