DB table leftover after uninstall

    Melapress is a great plugin but I hate it when plugins doesn’t clean-up their DB table leftover after uninstall.
    Add an option in the settings to delete db tables on uninstall.

    If you want to uninstall this completely, drop these 6 tables
    mfm_events
    mfm_events_metadata
    mfm_scanned_directories
    mfm_scanned_files
    mfm_stored_directories
    mfm_stored_files

    Hello,

    Thank you for your feedback and for using our plugin

    You are absolutely right that there should be an option to fully remove all plugin data when uninstalling. This option is already on our roadmap and will be included in a future update. Right now, the tables were mostly left by purpose since in some cases users remove the plugin accidently and they might not want to lose historical data when reinstalling.

    That being said, I want to thank you for sharing this feedback and for using our plugin and I hope you will consider it as well in the future.

    I hope that you are doing well today! Just wanted to let you know that we have just released version 2.3.0 which consist of a bunch of major improvements related to plugin security, performance and overall stability. We have also included a fix for the issue that you have reported.
