# db missing wp_users table

 * Multisite 3.4.1. Suddenly unable to log into admin – error in recognizing user
   name and password. Went into phpMyAdmin to run mysql query recommended [in this forum post](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/admin-username-password-not-working).
   Then I saw that the wp_users table is missing. I have a backup, and have edited
   a copy of it to just the wp_users table, saved as ‘wp_users.sql’. Now, how to
   import this table into the db? From what I gather, I first have to create a table
   called ‘wp_users’, and then import into it? But how to create the table? I need
   help with instructions how to fill in the various fields – no idea what they 
   all are. Please help?

 * Ok, figured out that it is not necessary to create the table first. Simply imported
   the table, and all is well. At least, it appears to be. I can now access admin.
   Should mention that [this other post](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-wp_users-table?replies=3)
   also was helpful.
