    Hi Misanthrop!

First of all I would like to thank you for this great plugin I’ve been using for a couple years. I was getting some error reports from android users and my wordpress was outdated so I updated to the latest versions of wordpress (3.01 to 3.8.1) and download-codes (1.x to 2.4).

The automatic upgrade of the plugin seemed to work but it didn’t. I had to add some columns in the databases (artist in the releases database) and I had to manually add the table dl_dc_code_groups.

I’m getting this error now and can you determine if this is caused by something gone wrong in my upgrade:

[Sun Jan 26 00:39:43 2014] [error] [client 198.84.249.122] WordPress database error Unknown column ‘TEST’ in ‘where clause’ for query SELECT ID FROM dl_dc_codes WHERE code_prefix = TEST AND code_suffix = K9QJNVPN AND release = 107 made by do_action(‘download-codes_page_dc-manage-codes’), call_user_func_array, dc_manage_codes, dc_generate_codes, referer: http://www.duplication.ca/downloads/wp-admin/admin.php?page=dc-manage-codes&release=107

    Another problem:
When I got to Manage Releases, and click on any View Report, I always get the report of the first release.

    Regards,
    George

    Hi,

Ok, sorry, thanks for pointing that out.

I think the database upgrade from 1.x to 2.4 is some known issue from back then where another developer supported me and introduced this new code groups table. Unfortunately, this table needs to be created manually. We have assumed that only very few people would still use one of the very old versions 1.x.

Regarding the second issue with the TEST column I suppose that maybe your MYSQL version is not current. But this is just a guess. I have not changed anything in that area.

The third topic is actually a bug, thanks. You can work around that by just going to the details page of the release and check the report there. Will fix it asap.

    Best regards,

    Armin

    Hi,

As discussed, I have fixed the third topic in the new release version 2.5.0. Thanks again for pointing it out.

    Best regards,

    Armin
