 * Hello. I use the plugin with a theme (VIBEZ, Qodeinteractive) and a downloaded
   demo. There is a date issue. It don’t accept dates modifications, the new events
   that I publish stay being displayed as “planed”and/or it don’t accept new places
   after having delay the places existing in the demo.
    It’s local and I’am not
   pro. Than you

 * Hi there,
 * I’m not quite sure what the issue you are having is, could you please elaborate
   a little more? It sounds like you are unable to edit the dates for events after
   you create them? This could be conflict possibly.
 * You can follow this article here to test for them: [https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/](https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/)

 * Hello,
    Sorry about my bad english. The fact is, for example, that after having
   chosen a place – that exists in the places list – for an event and having published
   it, the place is erased when I re-edit the event (also the organizer name). Same
   kind of thing about the dates : I change the dates of the events and after having
   published, the publishing dates come as events’ dates! Thank you for your answer.

 * Hey again,
 * That’s no problem no need to apologize, I think I understand what is happening.
 * Can you let me know what your timezone and date settings look like? Maybe with
   a screenshot? I can try to reproduce this, but I also would ask you to test for
   conflicts first because this sounds like it could be a possible conflict somewhere

 * Hello,
    I think I have undestood. I use the free 5.1.6 version that was involved
   in the use of the theme. I had engaged the update plugin process that collapse
   before to complete. But eveything seemded to be ok. The problem appeared after
   this. I have now restore the all site with a backup made before the update process…
   ans the dates problems in Eventscallendar are gone. I think that the update process
   is only available with the pro-version. I have now an other problem that I cannot
   fixed : remove the Googlemap from the events. It’s seems to be completely impossible,
   even by unchecking the appropriate settings. If you have an idea… Thank you YvS

 * Hey there,
 * I’m sorry that you’re still facing this issue, and even with the free version
   of The Events Calendar you should still be able to update that version if you
   want to in the future, the current version is 5.6.
 * For removing the Google Map, this forum post has a pretty good explanation on
   how to do that: [https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/remove-google-maps-display-option/](https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/remove-google-maps-display-option/)

 * Hello,
    Thank you for your answer. I will follow your advices. I think there
   are conflicts with the theme (VIBEZ, Etated theme). I succeed to remove the Google
   map by modifying a file called “single-event.php” located in a sub-directory (
   called “tribe-events”) in the theme directory. But I know nothing about code,
   it wa a little bit dared for me. I suppose it should be no problem to get the
   EventsCallendar’screens in another language than english. For the moment, I don’t
   see the way. I try to sort it out. Thank you YvS

 * Hi [@yvesflon](https://wordpress.org/support/users/yvesflon/),
 * If you’re looking to work with other languages with our plugins, this article
   should provide some guidance on that: [https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/changing-the-language-on-your-calendar/](https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/changing-the-language-on-your-calendar/)
 * Let me know if this helps.
