Dates above instead of by post.

  • What’s the method used here to put the dates above all posts that were posted that day and then the previous day and so on? Thanks, Shane

  • Where you have the_date, change that to the_time

    I mean I need to do a loop where all the posts from a certain date are displayed under a heading that reads out that date. I just don’t know the specific variables and/or tables that WordPress uses, so I was wondering if someone could provide a simple code to insert to do this. An example of what I want is http://www.xerocool.zsxonline.com/

    That is the default display in WP using the_date(). Using:
    <?php the_date(”, ‘<h2>’, ‘</h2>’); ?>
    somewhere at the top of the loop will only show the date once with all posts on that date below it.
