    Hi!
A client of mine got the mail that her database is full and blocked. Looking at it I found more than 6,000 entries of EWWW Image Optimizer in the database. I am definitely no expert in databases, so I’d like to know if I can do anything to reduce these entries. I probably cannot just delete them if the plugin is still in use or am I?

I also found an option to delete the optimization process in the plugin settings but it says that it will start the process again if I delete it…that is why I am here and would love to know what to do to decrease or even delete these entries.

Thank you very much for your help!

You can remove/clear the table if you need to, though if 6,000 entries is causing issues, perhaps you need a new web host 🙂
The main thing to keep in mind is just not to run a bulk optimize later on, since you’ve effectively erased the plugin’s memory of what it has already done with the images.
Plus, if you do a bulk optimize again, you’ll just fill up the table with a bunch of 0 savings records and be back at square 1!
