Date problem with browser safari

    I allow to leave this message because I have a real problem access to the form at all.
    As part of a simple registration form, I use the formula below to request the date of birth:
    Birth: (mandatory) [date * birth]
    But I just had a return and a problem with a person who uses the call safari browser that does not work. The person can not enter the date in the JJ / MM / AAAA format therein using the calendar or it does not have access.
    How to solve this problem and give access to all for the date format? Especially in Apple.

    PS: I use this form only for use in French
