# Date Picker multiple issues…

 * First thanks for the plugin… three things regarding the DATE PICKER:
 * 1) I needed to increase it’s z-index higher than 1 because for example it falls
   behind tabs in WC.
 * 2) On mobile (iPhone), when initiating calendar popup it also pulls up the mobile
   keyboard, causing the calendar to move off top of screen. Not huge deal, but 
   once keyboard closed and calendar scrolled back into view and then selecting 
   next/prev month, same thing happens – keyboard opens once again, and calendar
   scrolls up above top of display.
 * 3) although I have my date format set within wordpress, the date picker only 
   gives a format of dd-mm-yy (which of course confuses people here in USA, for 
   which format is mm-dd-yy). I suppose there is a way to change this in the code–
   though really would be nice if it provided the date in the wordpress format selected–
   or at least an option to set the format.

 * Ha ha, ok forget #3 – I didn’t scroll down far enough to see the ‘date format’
   option when testing that feature – sorry. But 1 and 2 still remain. Thanks again

 * Since no feedback, regarding the other items:
 * #1) Obviously adding a high z-index value in custom css handles this, would be
   nice to see this in plugin core at some point as likely everyone would expect
   to see the calendar above all other elements.
 * #2) Seem to have resolved this by adding readonly=”true” to the input statement
   in datepicker.php – while this doesn’t allow direct editing of the field it works
   well with the popup calendar and makes input far easier on mobile IMO. Might 
   there be a better solution that could be applied to core – maybe as a selectable
   option – for future updates?
