# Date Picker Issue

 * Hello,
 * I am trying to set up the submission page and I keep receiving the error “Dates
   must have correct formatting. Please use the date picker provided.” I have researched
   some and found this page [http://msyk.es/blog/prevent-jquery-wordpress-theme/](http://msyk.es/blog/prevent-jquery-wordpress-theme/)
   to which I have followed step #1 on the functions.php but it is still not working
   correctly.
 * Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m not too savvy at changing/correcting
   scripts.

 * can you try to temporarily do the following to narrow down the problem:
 * – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this
   works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(
   s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems–
   also, try to check your theme header.php for wp_head() or footer.php for wp_footer()

    </head>
 * Should I delete that?

 * no, that is correct; how about in your footer.php (did you see wp_footer() ) ?
