It’s possible this is a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
Thank you Caimin. But I can not find any plugin to cause this problem.
Will it work, if I just use the manual input?
On this manual issue, I tried many different format. But none of it works.
What format and input will it work with your dates and time?
Please advise. We do need this plugin.
Manually typing the date should work. The format is whatever you have set as “Date Picker Format” under Events > Settings > Formatting > Date/Time.
After I get stuck with your date picker. I installed a couple of other event managers.
Now your default setting were all somehow messed up.
In Front end, in BuddyPress group, when click on on “event”, “add event” option does not show up.
How do I get them back. I look everywhere, including “settings” and reinstall your plugin, still no improvement.
Sorry to bother you. It is a little frustrating now.
Thanks,
Donald

Just so you know. I have enabled user capability in the backend for all “author” to add/edit event. Also verified with an author login.
But at the front end, in both the “event” menu under “login profile” and “group”, the add/edit event does not show up.
Thank you,
Donald

Which version of Events Manager and BuddyPress are you using?
Have you customized those menus using Appearance > Menus (or in some other way)?
