    Hey I’m trying to figure out if there is a way to allow for entering a date, location, information and artist. I’ve heard myspace is doing something that it for there bands. They can enter in tour information by date, and such.. and the data will organize.

    I’m basically wanting to be able to do something like this in WordPress, where I can manage touring information from my Admin. There will be multi artists that will all in different tour information. 🙂

    Check out the Custom Field gui plugin (scroll down a bit on that page).

    hmmm.. I looked at that stuff, but doesn’t make much sense to me. I’m wondering how to add custom fields inside of the admin basically i want to add a place to manage tour date information from within the admin. The date – location and so on would need to be displayed on individual pages. Like on one artists page a just there touring info would be shown. So basically in the admin events/dates manager I would be able to select the artist whose dates I want to edit. And after I edit the information it would be viewed only on that particular artists page. 🙂

    Anyone have some more advice for me?

    That’d be the first link I gave you. The plugin.

    I was just thinking. This is basically what I need.

    in the admin. a dates manager from there be able to select artists I want to edit dates for. Or the option to add an artist, might be as simple as adding a page.

    Once the artist is selected for tour date information to be edited there would need to be an admin page with fields for date – location – information – artist.

    Then I would need to be able to enter this information in and have it viewed only on that artists page.

    Does this sound doable?
