    Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to go about fixing the date missing in all blog posts. Authors have been copying and pasting the date into the actual blog. Can anyone help with this?

  • Go to APPEARANCE => CUSTOMIZE => THEME SETTINGS => SINGULAR CONTENT and in the “Entry Meta (above content)” box, make sure this short code is there [post_date].

See other Genesis shortcodes here: https://studiopress.github.io/genesis/basics/genesis-shortcodes/

Please understand that this has nothing to do with WordPress, but everything to do with the commercial Genesis theme framework and its Maker Pro child theme you’re using.

Commercial themes and plugins are not supported here at WordPress.org because WordPress support volunteers do not have access to these products. I just happen to have a client using your particular Genesis child theme, that’s why I was able to provide the above guidance.

If you need further help, please contact StudioPress (your theme’s authors) for help.

Thank you for your response @gappiah ! I completely understand. Oddly, this shortcode is already there, it’s the first code too. I will contact Genesis to see what else I may need to do. Thank you again!
