Date format not showing up correctly

    I have selected the format of the Registered date to be yyyy-mm-dd, after entering the ABN number the Date fields should be populated in the format yyyy-mm-dd but it looks something like below in the field-

    1999/11/Mon Nov 01 1999 11:00:00 GMT+1100 (Australian Eastern Daylight Time)

    Date fields populate correctly when the format selected is dd/mm/yyyy

    Is this a known bug?
