Date Format Invalid

I am having issues with Contact Form 7 and all of my date fields. I saw in the documentation that that format by default needs to be yyyy-MM-dd but the date picker is choosing 05/12/2019. I can’t seem to fix this. I have a looked on a few other forms and can’t seem to find a fix. Any help please?
