# date format doesn't change

 * Changing the date format in Settings/General doesn’t have any effect. I’ve now
   tested with two sites, tried also change language, no effect.
 * In admin view dashboard the date is in the desired format, but in frontend not.

    you have to hardcode your theme or child theme, to change date.

 * dyrer – date formats are not something usually hard-coded in the theme, they 
   come from WordPress Core.

   trying to change it to?

 * Hi Kathryn, I would think also that dates come from core settings, but for some
   reason they don’t now change. I have tried English and Finnish. The language 
   changes, but the format doesn’t, what ever format I try, it just sticks in same

   I checked the theme (themify ultra) documentation and tried according to their
   instructions, but with no success.

 * It’s possible this theme does something unusual with dates so they’re not being
   localized/internationalized properly. If the problem only happens with this theme,
   as a next step you might want to contact the theme developer, since is a premium
   theme we don’t have access to and that provides their own support:
