# Date Format

 * Hello there- I really love this plugin, however I can’t seem to get the date 
   format to change. I’ve typed in every possible combination of date formats and
   it still keeps showing the same format (day of week followed by date, i.e. “Mon
   21st”). I’ve changed the shortcode and changed it on the backend through settings/
   ibs gcal events. I’ve been able to change everything else in the shortcode, like
   the hour format, etc. but can’t get the date format to change. Is this a known
   issue and is there a fix I need to apply? Thanks for your help!
