Using the shortcode for an Add Event page, the order on-screen is wrong (after selecting from the drop-down calendar) in all date fields (normal and reoccuring). It appears as Day/Month/Year and should be Month/Day/Year. Yet, if I select the “Add Event” from WP Admin menu – the date fields are properly set in US standard Month/Day/Year.

I’ve properly set the date fields in the Settings -> Formatting -> Date/Time, but this has no effect. I’m using “m/d/Y”. Date picker is set to “mm/dd/yy”.

Site and locale is in California. Other apps also properly display date in the US format.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • What are your WordPress settings in Dashboard -> Settings -> General. Sounds like that is set to d-m-Y as that is commonly used at the front-end. 🙂

Yep, had a custom setting. Changed it to the USA default and all is well. Sorry to have bothered you. This was the first plugin on this new site that used dates. I’m ordering the pro version later today. Thanks!

Just glad it got solved 🙂
