I have setup a user registration form that uses the Date field for their date of birth. When an end user makes changes to this field everything is working fine.
However when an administrator edits the user and tries to change this date field, the date picker places quotes around the date, ie “10/05/2022”. When you save this the user registration form does not show the date correctly to the user.

    What is adding the quotes?

    Hi @paulshultz,

    Thank you for reaching out,

We have updated and checked the date formating both as a user and an admin, but we did not find any issue. For your confirmation, check the following screenshots

    As an Admin: https://prnt.sc/j1pejaDiDFHm
    As a User: https://prnt.sc/jVUE558BSzu5

Maybe your date format is different. Please go to your dashboard >> settings >> general and check the date format. Also, it might be a conflict. Do test conflict with the help of this documentation https://docs.wpeverest.com/user-registration/docs/how-to-check-plugin-theme-conflict/.

    Regards!

    Hi Amrit,

Thanks for looking in to this. I dont think I explained this well. Here is the process to reproduce the issue.

1 – As an administrator i set the date to “01/05/2022”
2 – I login as the user and can see the date is set to “01/05/2022” (with quotes).
3 – Problem a) When you click on the date field, the date picker pops up but the date is reset to todays date and not “01/05/2022” as expected
4 – Problem b) When you select a date using the date picker, the date field is populated as 01/05/2022 (without quotes)

I have a screen to to visually see this at https://prnt.sc/C2h_uA7FOFP2

Hoping you can shed some light on this.
