I have version Ninja Forms 3.0.31 and WP 4.7.3. I have a date filed in my form and when I select the date field the calendar comes up, but when I try to enter a date that is several years in the past in d/m/Y (which what it is set to in the settings) format I get the ‘invalid date’ error. When I click on a date in the calendar it enters it in m/d/Y format.

I just tried testing this locally and couldn’t reproduce the issue. Can you provide more steps and maybe a screenshot of your date field settings as well? What specific date causes the failure? Note that there are separate settings for the display of the date in the date field settings itself, but that it will default to the closest available option to your preference in the Ninja Forms settings.

Figure this one out. I changed the field date format to MM/DD/YYYY and now it works. The date entered as 3/24/2015 was accepted and the second date was entered as 03/24/2017 with the calendar popup. They both display in dd/mm/YYYY format in the form, submission screen view (although in vertical), and the email that it was forwarded to.
