# Date Backwards

 * When a Contact Form 7 date field is embedded as a text field in a PDF, it seems
   that the format goes year, month, day. Is this intentional? This is not the format
   it is being inputted in CF7.
 * If it is intentional I’d just like to make my suggestion that it gets switched
   to whatever the format is in CF7, if possible.

 * The value that is saved into the PDF field is provided by CF7, which uses that
   format internally. I have plans to allow users to format the date using the [
   _format_{field name} “{date format}”] mail-tag, however, this feature is currently
   unimplemented.
