    Hi,
    Quite some time ago I entered code in my custom.css file to hide the author’s name and the date. The code is

    .vcard {
      display: none;
    }
    .posted-on {
      display: none;
    }

    It worked just fine until I did some cleanup work on this file. I mostly removed code that had long been commented out and did some rearranging. I was very careful to keep the segments intact. I also removed some lines that had to do with borders and backgrounds. I took out nothing that should have had anything to do with the author or date. As I was doing all this I frequently checked to see that nothing had changed on the website. Somehow I didn’t notice it when it happened, but the date and author are now back on my posts. Can anyone give me a clue as to what the problem might be?

    My website is http://www.bestmenswatchesreviews.com

    In your custom CSS, the lines:

    .fa-user {
      display: none;

    are missing the closing bracket (}). That should solve your problem.

    thanks for responding!
    I actually caught it myself and marked the post resolved, so I didn’t expect any response. But I do appreciate you giving it a look-see!
