    Hi all! 🙂 There is possible bug in DataTables Counter Column extension.

    Extension dont work if this is unchecked: Use the following features of the DataTables JavaScript library with this table.

    If you check for example option: Enable the visitor to filter or search the table You got numbers in first column, but uf it’s unchecked, there is no numbers!

    Also is it possible to add dot behing number (ex. 2.) or make it bold?

    Thanks in advance
    Marko

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    This is expected. The Extension is based on the DataTables JS library and therefore it needs to be enabled. It’s also required to have either the Search/Filtering or the Sorting enabled.

    To add a . after the number and to make it bold, please try adding this to the “Custom CSS” textarea on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress:

    .tablepress-id-123 td:first-child {
      font-weight: bold;
    }
    .tablepress-id-123 td:first-child:after {
      content: ".";
    }

    Change the 123 to the correct table ID.

    Regards,
    Tobias
